Prof. PUT, PhD, DSc Paweł Śniatała, received the M.S. degree in Telecommunication, M.S. degree in Computer Science and Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and the habilitation degree (D.Sc.) in electronics in 2016. He has also graduated the international MBA study in joint program George State University and Poznan University of Economics.
From 1998 to 2002 he worked at the Department of Computer Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology (USA). This connection is still alive and PUT’s students are welcome to participate in the Cybersecurity Visiting Student Research (CyberVSR) Program, which is organized every summer (https://www.rit.edu/cybersecurity/cybervsr). Pawel has also a close cooperation with prof. S.S. Iyengar at Florida International University, where PUT’s students have had an opportunity to participate in many teaching & research activities like “Digital Forensics Summer Workshop, 2022”, funded by US Army Research Office.
Following Pawel’s education background, his area of interest is in the border of hardware and software implementations. Currently, he is involved in research projects related to Health Care area (https://capable-project.eu/) and Cybersecurity issues.
He served in several international PhD and MS committees (Portugal, USA). He was a visiting professor in several universities outside Poland in: USA, Portugal, Peru, Taiwan. He is an author and co-author of over 100 papers including three monographs:
