Cyber Security as a catalyst for internationalization of universities and staff development

is implemented within the framework of the National Academic Exchange Agency’s SPINAKER program – Intensive International Education Programs, financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development (Contract No. BPI/PST/2021/1/00073/U/00001). The value of the granted support for the project is 750,496.56 PLN.

Intensive International Education Programs

The main objective of the Program is to internationalize Polish institutions of higher education and science.

Specific objectives of the Program:

  • Increase of interest in the educational offer of Polish higher educationinstitutions among foreign students and/or doctoral students;
  • To increase the participation of foreign students and/or doctoral students in educational programs at Polish universities;
  • Offer extension of intensive international educational programs, implemented also in hybrid or remote formula.
TASK DESCRIPTION

What Tasks Do We Carry Out

As part of the project, we are working on the following tasks

Task 1

Participation of teaching staff in cyber security onsite training at universities in the United States – Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Florida International University (FIU) in Miami.

Task 2

Participation of teaching staff in the worldwide recognized online training courses on issues included in the IMPK framework.

Task 3

Development of teaching and promotional materials necessary for the implementation of IMPK.

Task 4

Preparation of software necessary for the implementation of courses and enabling remote access to laboratory resources used for the implementation of IMPK.

Task 7

Conduction of IMPK in hybrid form within the framework of the summer school for EUNICE students and partner universities.

Task 5

Recruitment process of IMPK participants at the EUNICE European University partner universities and at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas Peru.

Task 6

Conducting IMPK in remote form as an additional teaching offer for study participants.
